Use the parks as outdoor classrooms! Natural and cultural history programs are available for groups free of charge upon request. To arrange a special exploration of a park for your group or class, contact the park office.
Environmental education learning experiences (EELEs) about the parks have been developed for many grades and are correlated to North Carolina's Standard Course of Study in science, social studies, mathematics and English/language arts. Park EELEs introduce students to the unique resources of the park and focus on the specific ecology, geology, or limnology in the park. Please use the 'Find a park' dropdown to the left and contact the park office at your park of interest for more information and to schedule an EELE for your group or class.
