The Haw River Program (HARP): An outdoor science school that specializes in overnight field trips for groups of all ages. All HARP courses and activities are designed to meet or exceed state and national standards for curriculum. HARP courses are flexible and can be tailored to meet specific needs of teachers.
The Summit Center: The Summit Environmental Education Center is a retreat and learning center operated in conjunction with the North Carolina Division of Parks and Recreation. Its secluded, 210-acre campus is located within Haw River State Park, one of the division's newest state parks currently under development.
